Since ancient times, the capital of Ukraine has been an economic and cultural center in Eastern Europe.
In the eleventh century, Kyiv was the largest capital in Europe, the city was more than ten times larger than Paris and fifty times larger than London. As of 2016, in the list of the largest cities in Europe,
Kyiv is on the seventh place.
The very name of the city is interesting. Some locals wittily explain it: there is an expression in French that means "enough water". And if we read it the other way around, we get the word "Odesa".
The city center is included in the list of UNESCO heritage sites.
Odesa is a really big city: it ranks 3rd in terms of population in Ukraine,
and the sea trade port is generally the largest in the country.
Odesa is not only big, but also beautiful: in 2010, the city took an honorable 4th place
in the rating of the most attractive cities in Europe after Amsterdam, Riga and Vilnius.
Vinnytsia is a wonderful city in Central Ukraine, which is famous not only for its rich history, but also for many awards, which it has been awarded on several occasions. Several times Vinnytsia was recognized as the most comfortable city in Ukraine, many people call Vinnytsia the city of fountains, and there are still many achievements, because our city definitely has something to be proud of!
Vinnytsia topped the survey "The most comfortable city to live in Ukraine" four times,
which was conducted by the "Rating" group for the international republican institute.
